Before starting any project, always look up to make sure you’re aware of any overhead power lines.

Whether you’re working on the roof, trimming trees, or cleaning the gutters, make sure you’re a safe distance from any power line and make sure to warn others of their proximity.

You should always stay at least 10-feet away from any overhead power line.

And for safe measure, be sure to carry long equipment, such as a ladder, horizontally to avoid bumping into an overhead power line.

And don’t ever touch anything that’s in contact with a power line.

If you ever see a downed power line stay away, and call 911. And remember, to avoid major accidents, be sure to always look up in all ways.
