Electrical Safety and Counterfeiting
Counterfeit electrical products can pose significant safety hazards and left undetected, can cause deaths, injuries and substantial property loss in the home and the workplace. NEMA, CSA and UL are among the organizations working to develop strategies to remove such products from the marketplace and increase awareness of the safey issues posed by counterfeit electrical products.

Keep abreast of important electrical product recall news by regularly checking in with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on their "Recall and Product Safety News" web page and click on consumer products.
