The ESFI-Canada was officially launched by ESFI Chairman of the Board, David Tallman, and ESFI-Canada Chair, Peter Marcucci on September 9, 2011. The new non-profit Canadian organization is dedicated exclusively to promoting electrical safety.
ESFI-Canada will leverage the achievements of ESFI over the last sixteen years in the U.S., including sponsorship of National Electrical Safety Month each May. ESFI-Canada will engage in public education campaigns to prevent electrical fires, injuries, and fatalities. Its first campaign is planned for later this fall.
